The Emmons School Music Department is committed to delivering a comprehensive & enriching musical experience and curriculum to students grade K-8. With programs in general music, wind band, and guitar ensemble, Emmons School offers a bevy of creative outlets for its students. Under the direction of Mr. Zachary Smith, the Emmons School Music Department is working to becoming an integral part of the community and school-at-large. The mission of the Emmons School Music Department is to deliver a variety of high-quality creative outlets for the students of Emmons School. We encourage, challenge, and enrich our students through understanding, appreciation, and performance in fine arts. |

We have a representative that visits the school each Tuesday for anything we need. Need reeds? Mouthpiece? Instrument repair? From 3:30 - 4:10 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week Emmons offers "Band Study Hall" in the band room. This time can be used to get help from Mr. Smith, to practice your music on your own, or to work on other music assignments you have! Band study hall is optional but Mr. Smith HIGHLY recommends you try it out!! Please let Mr. Smith know if your child is attending Band Study Hall! Please click here for more information!
